Exponents Center for Personal and Professional Development (ECPPD) is excited to announce the launch of our Addiction Professionals Scholarship Program, sponsored by OASAS. The program is designed to assist individuals who are currently working in, or have an interest in joining the field. By offering this scholarship, we hope to provide a valuable opportunity for individuals to expand their skills and knowledge through the 350-hour CASAC or 50-hour CRPA training program. Interested individuals can apply for the scholarship program below.
Credentialed Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
- Day and evening classes are available
- Hybrid in-person and remote learning
- New York State-approved 350-Hour Curriculum
- Course ideal for individuals who wish to offer clinical counseling services to individuals impacted by substance and alcohol addiction
Schedule: Monday -Thursday
Day cohort 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. *Remote learning on Thursdays
Evening cohort 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. *Remote learning on Tuesdays & Thursdays
Full Tuition Covered by Scholarship: $5,150
*$18/class hour
Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA)
- Hybrid in-person and remote learning
- New York Certification approved 50-Hour Curriculum
- Course is ideal for individuals who wish to offer non-clinical counseling services via outreach, advocacy, mentoring, and recovery support services to individuals who are seeking or sustaining their recovery
Schedule: Monthly basis
Recovery Coach One week 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. *remote learning on Thursday; Peer Ethical Standards two days 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm; Medication Supported Recovery one day *remote learning 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Full Tuition Covered by Scholarship: $1,650

Eligibility Criteria & Placement Requirements
The Addiction Professionals Scholarship Program will provide tuition funding for up to 350 hours of CASAC or 50 hours of CRPA education; certification application fees; books and manuals; and other credentialing supportive services.
